There are few pleasures greater than a cold beer on a bank holiday Monday.

Thanks to the supermarkets waking up to more and more gluten-free items, it should be fairly easy for you to pick up a pack of beer that’s Coeliac-friendly.

If you look on the back of the Estrella Damm bottle you’ll see the following reassuring statement:

“The gluten contained in the barley malt in the beer’s ingredients has been hydrolysed during the production process, guaranteeing that the final product’s gluten content is below 3 PPM, according to the codex alimentarius legislation for gluten-free products.” So there you have it. Now you can have your gluten-free beer and drink it, too.
