If you've been coeliac for a while, you'll know just how many icecreams aren't gluten-free. That includes anything with a cone (obviously) or an icecream with ingredients like cookies and cream.
Two things that were once impossible: gluten-free chocolate biscuit icecream & the ability to eat it without taking off your lipstick.

The freefrom market has grown so much recently that companies both big and small have burst onto the scene with some amazing gluten-free finds you wouldn't necessarily have thought you could eat. Here are just a few of the treats you can find in your supermarket or at an icecream stand...
Gluten-Free Cornets
Cornetto and Tesco have jumped on the cornet bandwagon. Delicious vanilla icecream with a chocolate-lined cone all ready for you to dive into. Or, at least, it was until Tesco's chocolate provider suddenly changed their ways. Tesco now only do vanilla & strawberry in their cones, but then again that's good for anyone who can't have cocoa.
Gluten-Free Ice Cream Cones
For standard, reminds-you-of-your-childhood cones, try these ones from Barkat. For an upmarket waffle cone that makes you feel truly special, try Barkat's brand here. Now all you have to do is choose the icecream you want to scoop inside.
Supermarket Icecream Tubs
For the absolute best dairy-free, egg-free & gluten-free icecream, my favourite has to be Booja Booja. They have so many good flavours, your hardest task will be having to choose which one to buy.
For value icecream, Asda does 2 litres for 92p with milk, peanuts and nuts as their only listed allergens.
Fresh Vegan & Gluten-Free Cornets

So if you're clamouring for a cornet, or simply wish to eat icecream out of a tub (and who could blame you in this weather?), this should give you a good start.
